Elizabeth Carranza Director of Trade and Technical Affairs
Elizabeth Carranza currently serves as the Director of Trade and Technical Affairs for the California Blueberry Commission. In her role, she is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Commission in addition to facilitating trade missions, research and development, educational outreaches, marketing efforts, and market development on both an international and domestic level.
Elizabeth has experience in marketing, research, exports, and policy through her prior role as the Program Supervisor for the California Olive Committee. Elizabeth also formerly served as a Kenneth L. Maddy Institute Legislative Scholar Intern in Washington, DC.
Elizabeth grew up in the Central Valley in Porterville, CA and received her Bachelor’s Degree in Agricultural Business from California State University, Fresno. She also obtained her Master’s degree in Communication Management from the University of Southern California.
With a passion for agriculture, Elizabeth enjoys serving the California blueberry industry as the Director of Trade and Technical Affairs, and she looks forward to assisting the industry through this position.
